Answers:
I think what your friend is thinking of are Ergot alkaloids!. ergot alkaloids occur with many grains, including rye!. Ingesting ergot can be very dangerous!. Google "Ergotism"!.
LSD (d-lysergic-acid-dythiemide) is derived from ergot alkaloids!.

A much better legal hallucinogen is LSA (lysergic-acid-amide), which is very similar to LSD, but legal!. It is found in Morning glory seeds, particularly in the Heavenly blue, Flying Saucer, and Pearly White varieties!. If you're interested in this sort of thing, go to erowid!.org and look up morning glory!.
Hope this helps, Please don't eat the mold! lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

um no!.!.!. thats just penicillin!.!.!.!. when i was younger i heard if you chew a piec of gum, wrap it in tinfoil and put it in the center of an apple cored and leave it in a dark place for a month and then eat it will make you trip!.!.!.!.!.!. just go find some acid or some mushrooms!.!.!. i doubt these things workWww@FoodAQ@Com

Forget about it! You'd be better off eating an ounce or two of nutmeg or organic morning glory seeds!.
Look up those two in Wikipedia!.
