As a matter of fact I DO know what you are talking about! lol My g-ma used to use the same thing!. Heres the hook, the other day (over the weekend) my hubby and I attended a BBQ and a friend of our had made a broccoli and cauliflower salad that had this VERY dressing on it!. Needless to say I attacked marykay for the recipe!
She told me the following and you mulitply as you like: I could believe how simple it was!.!.!.!.!.
She took the amount of mayo she thought she would need and in this case it was 2 cups!. She thinned it down with milk to the right consistency, then she added sugar to taste which ended up being a little over 1/2 a cup!. IT would differ depending on weather you used real mayo or miracle whip or what!. She added black pepper and garlic powder, it was GREAT!
Hope this helped!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mayonaise is salad dressing all by itself!. That was the purpose of mayonaise when it was "invented" back in the day in France!. My Aunt always dressed her salads with mayonaise alone!. There is no reason at all that you could not add some sugar to the mayonaise before putting it on the salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1 tablespoon sweet pickle juice
1 tablespoon sugar
mix together
you could also use 1/3 cup mustard and a cap of vinegar instead of pickle juice or it converts to 1 tablespoonWww@FoodAQ@Com
