Food sticks to non-stick pan...?!
I bought a new pan with a non-stick coating because my old one had a couple of deep scratches in it!. I put butter in the bottom, even though you were not supposed to have to do this, let it melt, then scrambled my eggs over low-medium heat (4 on a dial of 10)!. My eggs stuck to the bottom pretty bad even though I stirred them (scraping the bottom and sides of the pan) the entire time!. I have been using non-stick pans for years and never had difficulty like this!. Is there anything I need to do differently!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It has to be one of these:
The pan's faulty
It may have needed to be treated with EVOO
Your fire was too low
Your fire was too high
I would try it again on a higher and lower heat and if it still sticks, try another brand!. Magnalite is a really good one!. They last forever!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds like you're doing everything right!. using PAM or other similar product is the only thing I've heard will make it stick!. oh yes, and high heat!.
I'm assuming you've washed it well!.!.
I'd take it back, wish i had a better answer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't add butter! sheesh!. Just heat up pan and MAYBE spray w/ a bit of nonstick spray!. the butter probably burnt, which caused your eggs to stick to the burnt butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They all do it, "non-stick" is irrelevent!. Teflon is just supposed to 'help'!. Nothing is garenteed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
perhaps the pan is faulty I would return it for a different oneWww@FoodAQ@Com
