What would be the best fruit to use in a salsa?!

Question: What would be the best fruit to use in a salsa!?
I'm making this recipe that has a spicy rub chicken breast and an Orange salsa!. But since there's so much fresh fruit at the market I'd like to substitute something more fun for the orange!.

What sounds the best!?

(a) Original recipe: Orange, red onion, Jalepeno, Cilantro

(b) Nectarine, red onion, Annheime pepper, Cilantro

(c) Star fruit, red onion, yellow bell pepper, garlic, cilantro

(d) You pick some other variation :)

FYI, the rub for the chicken is 1/2 tsp Cumin, 1/4 tsp Cayenne, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That Dish sounds delicious, of the salsas listed I would go with!.!.!. (B) Nectarine, Red onion, Anaheim pepper, Cilantro!.

Blackberries or Mangoes would be excellent too, Here is a recipe for Peach-Blackberry Salsa you might like =)

Peach-Blackberry Salsa:

*Sometimes the acid in salsa can lesson the heat of your peppers!. Add a pinch or two of cayenne if you want a spicier salsa!. Leftover salsa will stay fresh in a sealed jar in the fridge for about 5 days!.

Makes about 6 cups salsa

4 cups peeled chopped peaches (about 2 pounds)
2 cups blackberries,
2 cups lightly crushed large fresh tomatoes
1 cup finely chopped red onion
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon liquid honey
2 teaspoons finely minced garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt

Toss salsa ingredients together in a medium bowl!. Adjust lime juice and salt to suit your taste!.

Enjoy =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cube your tomato , Cut your onions ( the ones with the long green tail and small head ) , Same thing with your cilantro ( gotta have cilantro ) , now get your jalapeno and roll them in between the palm of your hand and the cutting board / counter / table , do this for a few times each !. After doing this DO NOT RUB YOUR EYES ! Cut them the long way and remove the seeds and cut into tiny cubes !. Mix them all and after washing your hands enjoy !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't cook!.!.!. but I would have to agree with the others MANGO, I had it for breakfast!!

Found this, it sounds yummy

1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted and cut into 1/4" cubes
1 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded and cut into 1/4" cubes
1 ripe Avocado, peeled, pitted and cut into 1/4" cubes!.
3 tbsp!. lime juice
2 tbsp!. fresh cilantro, chopped!.
2 tbsp!. brown sugar
1 tsp!. jalapeno peppers, drained!.
