Question: I'm looking for an authentic recipe for Mexican burnt milk candy, I think!?
It's has the consistency of fudge but no chocolate!. The best I ever had was a simple recipe of milk sugar and vanilla!. It was cut into squares and melts in your mouth!. Please give me a family recipe!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know what you are talking about it is called jamonsillo my mom makes them and they are the best although they are kind of hard to make!. you put milk and sugar to boil and you have to keep stirring or it will burn!. Stir until you reach a thick consistency king of a thick batter look to it!. Ten minutes before it is done put in the vanilla!. once you reach the consistency take it out and put it on a flat surface and make a long log and cut into strips and that is it!. warning it takes hours of stirring but they are so good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
