Help! Pancetta problems!?!
So I heard that bacon is a good substitute for pancetta, and figured it must work the other way around too so I bought some!.!.!.
Anyway, I now have a package of pancetta in the frying pan, and honestly, I hate the way it smells - maybe because I was expecting bacon and this certainly isn't!. Does anyone know a good recipe that uses fried pancetta!? (Preferably really simple)!. I don't want to throw it out!.!.!. but I can't really imagine having it with scrambled eggs as I intended!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Pancetta is often used in creamy pastas and quiche!. Try adding it to an alfredo sauce over cheese raviolli!. Pancetta isn't meant to be eaten by itself the way we do with bacon, it's a bit strong for that :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
i think you can put it in sandwhiches tooWww@FoodAQ@Com
