Roasted chicken with lemon slices and garlic!. Put thin slices of lemon under the skin of the bird with some softened butter or rub with vegetable oil!. Put more lemon slices and smashed garlic ( you don't even need to peel it) smashing releases the flavors quicker, inside the bird!. Salt and pepper the outside!. Roast until crispy and golden brown usually at least an hour and 15 minutes some times an hour and a half or more depending on the weight of the bird!. I like to start with a high 400 degree oven and then turn it down to 350 degrees after 15 minutes!. Great with baked potatoes!. I love dishes that you put in the oven while you do other things!. I can't wait for winter because I hate to turn the oven on when it is over 90's outside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
