Best fruit crumble and provide recipe if you have it?!

Question: Best fruit crumble and provide recipe if you have it!?
Answers:
I usually take out 1-2 oz of the flour and replace it with rolled (porridge) oats!. It makes a nicer texture!. If I am using apples then I would add a little cinnamon to the crumble mixture!. If using plums or rhubard than a little ground ginger is nice!. I also find golden caster sugar gives a nicer flavour!.
8oz plain flour
2-3 oz rolled oats
7oz butter - cut into cubes
5oz golden caster sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Rub the butter into the flour until is resembles breadcrumbs!. Stir in the remaining ingredients and sprikle over prepared fruit!. Some people like to gently cook the fruit, but you can use it from raw!. Bake until golden (180C for 30- 50 minutes depending on whether fruit is already cooked)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the best fruit crumble use demerera sugar and good butter, the topping will be much better than using caster sugar!. I also use any fruit that I have in my fruit bowl that is getting over ripe and have had good results!. you can also save money by buying fruit that has been reduced because their sell by dates are up sometimes the fruit is even tastier!.

2lb fruit
6ozs demerera sugar
8ozs flour
4ozs butter
pinch salt

Rub flour and butter together until it resembles breadcrumbs, add sugar and salt !. When you have lightly stewed fruit place topping over it and cook till it is golden brown in a moderate oven approx 30 minsWww@FoodAQ@Com
