Boil Lasagna noodles before baking, or not???!

Question: Boil Lasagna noodles before baking, or not!?!?!?
Boil regular lasagna noodles, or don't boil them!?!?!?
I have read so many conflicting theories! Some people swear by not boiling the noodles, some people say you must!. Most people seem to agree that "no-boil" noodles are not as good!. I admit, I tried no-boil and they turn out uneven and tough!.
So, I have regular lasagna noodles; do I need to boil them first or not!? (Yes, I will add water to the pan before cooking!.)
BTW, My kids and I don't like "mushy" pasta, but I don't want "crunchy" either, lol!.
If you suggest boiling first, please state if you ever tried NOT boiling them! It seems the "don't need to boil people" say it turns out fine!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I feel so alone! I'm going to be the first one (so far) to say I prefer to use regular lasagna noodles and NOT cook them first!. I tried it years ago and have never boiled another one again!. It turns out perfectly!. You have to make sure to cover the pan with foil for most of the time, but I do that anyway!. The sauce doesn't have to be alot thinner, but somewhat!. Good luck making your decision!
BTW!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I told my mother-in-law about this method, she tried it one time when I was there and was shocked it worked, but hasn't done it since!. She's scared it won't work again (maybe because I'm not there, IDK)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You kno you can buy Lasagna pasta that is already pre boiled so all you have to do is bake em and thats it you can find it walmartWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, the cook first kind are hard to deal with but are way way better!. Don't boil them all the way, like you would for a spaghetti!. Par-boil them so they are still fairly hard, and they will cook with the lasagna!.

I prefer boiled noodles in my lasanga as opposed to not boiled!. I think that uncooked leaves the noodles too crunchy and the sauce too runny!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you will need to cook the lasagna noodles to where they are almost done!. Then the oven will finish cooking them with the sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I boil them for about 7 minutes (my box says 10)!. Mine turns out perfect every time!. I had the no boil ones before and they are gross!. No I have never tried not boiling normal ones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have tried both, I prefer to boil them first, but not all the way !.!.!.I leave a little "bite" in them, then they finish off in the oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You boil the noodle half way and then, they finish cooking in the oven!.

I have not tried not boiling first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Boil the noodles first!. It comes out much better that way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes you should boil the noodle first !.!.!.but don't boil then untill they are done !.!.!.just about half done maybe a bit more !.!.then when you put them in the oven they will cook the rest of the way !.!.!.bon apetiteWww@FoodAQ@Com

Boil it al dente, then bake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Boil Them First!.

I prefer boiled first!. I try to keep one semi separated to keep as a test noodle so to say, I personally boil till they are at a point i like to eat!. then i drain and let them soak in the pasta sauce for a few mins to absorb the flavor a bit!. one reason i never order lasagna when out to eat is 9 out of 10 times you can taste the plain noodle taste!. when you do cool it it does tend to be a bit more saucey in the end beacuse of the noodles where boiled a bit longer, but once it settles and cools of a bit the noodles really take in the flavor and you have a fully enjoyable lasagna!. Already gave you the best technique when you asked this a few minutes ago!.!.!.!.I've tried it both ways but I just like to parboil(partially cook) them, it works better for me! Some have copied what they have read!!!!!!
Again:
Partially boil, so they still have a lil bite to em, rinse and dry well(with paper towel!. If they are wet it will make your lasagna over soupy!

You should try an alternative to the same old lasagna, use 4lbs of burger and 2 packs of taco bell brand seasoning!. Add a can of mild rotel, 2 or 3 jars of salsa (your favorite)and a lil water, add more chili powder, cumin, salt, 1 tsp sugar for plenty of sauce, till it tastes mexicanny enough then just layer it like lasagna with sour cream or ricotta or cottage cheese, grated monteray & cheddar!. Bake the same!. Add mre cheese on top 5 minutes before done, just let it melt and top with green onions chopped!.

It's good but also you can use corn or flour tortillas instead of lasagna noodles and layer & bake it the same too!
