Do you think i can make left over boneless breaded fried chicken with Zatarains Spanish rice!
I have a few left over peices of chicken that has to be eaten tonight,or it's gonna go bad!.I was thinking of cutting the chicken up and mixing it with the flavored rice!.What do you think!? All suggestions are welcome!.Please simple things only,i am not looking to make some kind of gornet meal,i just want to use my left ove chicken thanks all,bye!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you cook it together in the oven, some of the broth from the chicken will flavor the rice even more! I would cover with tin foil though to lock in steam because this will cook the rice and keep the chicken moist!. ( Do follow instructions on Zatarians box as to how much water to add)

Ingredients
2 teaspoons Zatarain's? Creole Seasoning
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium green bell pepper, sliced thin
1 medium onion, sliced thin
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 cup water
1 package Zatarain's? Spanish Rice Mix
Directions
1!. Sprinkle Creole Seasoning over both sides of chicken breasts!. Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat!. Add chicken; cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned!. Remove chicken; set aside!.
2!. Add bell pepper and onion to same skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until crisp-tender!.
3!. Add water and tomatoes; bring to boil!. Stir in Rice Mix!. Return to boil!. Place chicken on top of rice!. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender and chicken is cooked though!. Remove from heat!. Let stand 5 minutes before serving!.

Couldn't hurt to try!. With leftover meat I usually cook a box of mac and cheese (the really cheap kind), add leftover meat and veggies, add a can of cream soup, put into a greased pan and top with bread crumbs, and bake until bubbly!. Super cheap and easy, and nothing is wasted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
scrape the breading off!. When you cook it in the rice it will come off I would think!. That might not look too good!. You can alway heat it up and put it in the rice after the rice cooks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
