There is not a problem in making this up to a day in advance, but the noodles will start to get too soggy if you wait much longer!. I like to prepare mine in the morning and cook it in the evening when I get home from work!. The allows the flavors to meld!. The taste is so much better than if it is cooked just after being mixed!. I find that almost any casserole dish is better if mixed and prepared about 12 hours prior to cooking!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely!. Just undercook the macaroni a little bit if you still want to have some texture!. Especially if it will be in the fridge fore more than 2 hours: the macaroni will absorb some of the sauce and soften!.

If you are crumb topping it, make sure to leave that off until just before baking!. Soggy crumbs won't brown!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will be fine!. You may need to add more cream or milk before baking!. If you are topping the mac and cheese with bread crumbs to get a crunchy topping, don't put that on until ready to bake!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure can!. Just make sure it is cooled down before covering it and refrigerating!. Not a problem!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes you can I do it like that all the time!. Just be sure to add a little more milk or cream when you bake it
