What is a good recipe I can make under 30 minutes?!
I would like to start trying cooking food under 30 minutes since our family is always busy and on the go!.

This is a little longer then 30 mins including prep!. But can be made the day before and heated the next day!.
It is a family members recipe and she submitted it into a contest and won a trip to the islands!!

Chicken Cassserole
Ingredients:
2 pkg!. of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
2 whole chicken breasts cooked and broken into small pieces ( I just boil the chicken)
3/4 bar of sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 cans of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
Directions:
1!. Preheat oven to 350
2!. Butter or spray 9" x 13" casserole dish
3!. Layer with spinach, pieces of chicken, and shredded cheese
4!. Spread the soup on the top of the casserole to seal it
5!. Top with bread crumbs and pats of butter
6!. Bake for 30 - 40 mins!.
*I often make it with Stove Top stuffing on top instead of bread crumbs!.
*I have also substituted broccoli instead of spinach (but have a great broccoli casserole recipe I use too)
*If you are making it in advance and cooking it the next day, follow the directions but do not add the bread crumbs and butter!. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and add bread crumbs and butter right before putting it in the oven!.
Or try this -
Cheeseburger Pie
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1/2 cup Original Bisquick? mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1!. Heat oven to 400°F!. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray!.
2!. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain!. Stir in salt!. Spread in pie plate!. Sprinkle with cheese!.
3!. In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients with fork or wire whisk until blended!. Pour into pie plate!.
4!. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean

1 cup of chopped already raw chicken!.!.
1 tbsp canola oil!.
7 tbsp graded parmesian cheese!.
10 tbsp of bread crumbs!.
4 cups chopped carrots and onions!.

Now under boiling water cook your 4 cups of vegetables into the med-heat water!. Now, as your veggies are cooking leave them there for 5 minutes and then take out to cool!. Here's my favorite 30 minute meal recipe, and it sometimes takes less than that!
Three-Bean Chili
2 tablespoons (2 turns around the pan) olive or vegetable oil
1 medium yellow skinned onion, chopped
1 large red pepper, seeded and chopped
1 large green pepper, seeded and chopped
1 large jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
1 cup pale beer or vegetable stock/broth
1 (32- ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (14-ounce) can black beans
1 (14-ounce) can dark red kidney beans
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cayenne hot pepper sauce, several drops
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 cup spicy vegetarian refried beans
Toppings:
8 ounces (2 cups shredded) spicy monterey jack or smoked cheddar
Chopped scallions, whites and greens
Diced fresh seeded plum tomato
Blue and red corn tortilla chips or black bean tortilla chips, for dipping
Over moderate heat, add oil to a deep pot and combine onion, peppers, and garlic!. Saute for 3 to 5 minutes to soften vegetables!. Deglaze pan with beer or broth, add tomatoes, black beans, red kidney beans, and stirring to combine!.
Season chili with cumin, chili powder, hot sauce, and salt!. Thicken chili by stirring in refried beans!. Simmer over low heat about 5 to 10 minutes longer, then serve up bowls of chili and top with shredded cheese, scallions, and tomatoes!. Place bowls on charger plates piled with assorted tortilla chips!.

Soup: Chicken & Rice!.

Chicken Chunks!.
Rice!.
Diced Carrot!.
Diced Celery/Sliced Leek!.
Diced Onion !.(medium)
More Vegetables!.
Add all except the Rice and Extra Vegetables to a decent sized pot or stock pot!.
Stir fry until the chicken has a little colour and the other vegetables are soft!.
Add a little water to de glaze the pot and add as much for the size you want!. (2 litres)
Bring to a boil and add rice!. Return to boil then reduce to a rolling simmer!.
Go through the freezer and take out all of those part bags vegetables and add!.
Go through the fridge and look for what else to add!.
Stir from time to time!.
The rice will absorb a lot of liquid so that may need to be topped up!.
Season to taste, and plate up!.
Serve with Garlic Bread!.
Salmon Pockets!.
4 200g Salmon Fillets!.
1 Lemon!. (thinly sliced)
1 Red Onion!. (sliced)
2t Capers !.(optional drained and rinsed)
2T Olive Oil!.
Ground black pepper!.
Preheat oven to 200C (400F)
Place each fillet on a sheet of tin foil!.
Add sliced lemon, red onion, capers and black pepper!.
Drizzle with oil wrap each to form a pocket!.
Bake for 10-12 minutes and serve with vegetables or a salad!.
They could also be cooked on the BBQ
