Does a pot like this exist?!
way off my usual posting on answers, but thats ok!.
I have a cooking project I want to try out, but I am not having much luck on finding the vessel I am imagining to be ideal for it!.
I'm thinking of something on the heavier side, ceramic or clay or perhaps cast iron, about 5 or 6 inches wide on the bottom, maybe tapered some, but not too substantially (a little smaller on the bottom if at least 5 or 6 on the top would be ok) about 7-8" long, (same deal on the taper and size as wide) and about 3 or 4" deep!.
looking online, I found "Schlemmertopf " pots, which are pretty close in general shape and style, but didn't see any the size I am looking for!.
I saw pictures of these with like, full size chickens or turkeys, but this is for something with Cornish Game Hens!. (1 per container)
it doesn't neccesarily have to be *perfect* but thats what I'm going for!.

I don't know how important the actual shape is, but I am sure you can find cast iron pots in various sizes - 1 qt, 2 qt, 5 qt, etc!.
These are almost always round and slightly tapered!.
2 qt might do very well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
