I'm thinking you have a regular ice cream maker that takes Ice to make!. If so: You will need at least a couple of bags of crushed ice!.
Beat 4 eggs until creamy looking!. Add 2 1/2 cups sugar and two 1/2 pints of whipping cream and a quart of half and half!. Blend together and add 2 tablespoons vanilla!. Put the paddle in the can!. Pour the mixture into the freezer can and add milk until it comes to the fill line or about 3 inches from the top!. also if you want to add fruit such as strawberries or peaches or maybe banannas you need to blend them in a blender and add to the cream mixture before filling the can to the fill line with milk!. Put the lid on the can and then put can into the bucket!. Put the motor on!.
!. Plug in and add about a 1/2 cup of ice cream salt (You can find this at your grocery store) and 1/2 cup cold water into the bucket!. Then put in a layer of ice, sprinkle salt on top of this and continue to do this until the ice is to the top of the can!. As this melts down add more ice and salt!. Always add salt to the top of the ice!. When the can bogs down and either quits turning or barely turns unplug the mixer!. Take the motor off and wipe the lid to remove any salt!. Tilt the bucket to let some of the water drain out the hole in the side!. Take off the lid and remove the paddle!. Put the lid back on!. Plug the hole in the lid and then cover with as much crushed ice as you can get on top and then cover this with salt!. Wrap the whole freezer with a quilt or something to insulate it!. Let it set for a couple of hours to ripen!. When you are ready to eat uncover and remove the ice covering the top and again wipe the lid to remove any salt!. Take off the lid and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are many different kinds of ice cream makers out there, and each one operates differently, so it's hard to advise you!.
I have a Cuisinart ice cream maker, which comes with a bowl that you keep in the freezer until ready to use!. Then you make your ice cream base, pour it into the bowl, put the bowl on the ice cream maker and it churns for about 20 minutes!. Then you remove the ice cream (or sorbet), put it into containers, cover it with saran wrap first, then the container cover, and freeze!.
Now, if this doesn't sound like the kind of ice cream maker you have, then I'm sorry I can't help you!.
There has got to be a name or some kind of indentification on the ice cream maker somewhere!. Aren't there any labels on the bottom!? Once you find a name, you can google it and see if they have online instructions!.
Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
