Hi
I hope you have some juice from whichever meat you have cooked!.
Remove the roast from the baking dish, and get the juice boiling on the stove (you can add liquid at this point if you wish to have a bigger batch of gravy!.) When bubbling, add a half cup of cold water into which about 2 tablespoons of corn starch have been added!. You must start off with the water and add the cornstarch to it, or the other way, cornstarch first, will end up being lumpy You can add the mixture to the gravy pot after pouring it through a strainer if you want to avoid lumps!. Stir a lot, it should thicken!. Check for seasonings, and adjust!. Voila, gravy!! Good luck!.
