Is there a substitute for canned cream!


Question: Is there a substitute for canned cream
I've never heard of canned cream and I have never seen it before!. maybe cream of mushroom soup or any other cream of something soup without the water or something else!? it's for a curry recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it is cream, just normal cream in a tin
you can also buy it fresh in tubs in the chiller with foil lids

if i were making a curry i would expect it to be coconut milk though, that you can only get here in cans

no,never heard of this either on a commercial shelf!.!.
the only expanation i can come up with is this,if you are making a thai curry,which uses coconut milk,some countries do refer to this as coconut cream or canned cream!.!.thats the best i can say!.!.hope this helps!.!.good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com
