Japanese Okonomiyaki
"Japanese style dinner 'pancake' integrating cabbage and meat for a delicious meal!"
INGREDIENTS
12 ounces sliced bacon
1 1/3 cups water
4 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 medium head cabbage, cored and sliced
2 tablespoons minced pickled ginger
1/4 cup tonkatsu sauce or barbeque sauce
Method
1) Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until slightly crispy!. Remove to paper towels to drain and set aside!.
2) In a large bowl, stir together the water and eggs!. Gradually stir in the flour and salt until smooth!. Add the cabbage and ginger; stir until evenly distributed!.
3) Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray!. Pour about 1/4 of the batter into the center of the skillet!. Place 4 slices of cooked bacon in the center!. Use a spatula to shape the pancake into a circle!. Fry for about 5 minutes or until the edges are dry!. Flip and cook on the other side until the center is stable and it is browned on both sides!. Remove from the pan and drizzle with tonkatsu sauce to serve!. Continue with remaining batter and bacon!.

"This incredible meatloaf is sure to be a family favorite!. It's SIMPLE to make using turkey, loads of cheese, and Italian bread crumbs!."
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds ground turkey
1 cup milk
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 pound Colby cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 cup ketchup (optional)
Method
1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!.
2) In a bowl, mix the turkey, milk, bread crumbs, and eggs by hand!. Season with salt and pepper!. Fold the cheese cubes into the mixture!. Transfer to a loaf pan, and top with ketchup!.
3) Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, to an internal temperature of 180 degrees F (85 degrees C)!.

"Tired of boring old meat loaf!? Well give this one a try!. My husband won't eat any other meat loaf but mine!."
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup crushed buttery round crackers
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons steak sauce
Method
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
2) Stir the ground beef, crushed crackers, Cheddar cheese, and onion soup mix in a large bowl until well combined!. Whisk the eggs, ketchup, and steak sauce in a separate bowl until smooth!. Mix the eggs into the meat until evenly combined, if the mixture seems too dry, add a little water!. Press into a 9x5 inch loaf pan!.
3) Bake in preheated oven until the meatloaf reaches 160 degrees F (71 degrees C) and is no longer pink in the center, 45 to 60 minutes!.

one 29 ounce can tomato sauce
one 29 ounce can kidney beans (with liquid)
one 29 ounce can pinto beans (with liquid)
one cup diced onion (one medium onion)
1/2 cup diced green chilies (Use these only if you like it HOT!)
1/4 cup diced celery ( one or two stalks)
3 medium tomatoes or two 15 ounce cans of diced tomatoes
2 teaspoons cumin powder
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups of water
To prepare:
Brown the ground beef and drain the fat off of it!.
Use a fork to crumble the beef into pea size pieces
In a large pot, combine the beef plus all of the above ingredients!.
Bring to a simmer over low heat!.
Cook for 2 to 3 hours!.
NOTE: You MUST stir the pot every 15 minutes or a film will appear on top of it and the ingredients will not mix properly
This chili makes the whole house smell good as soon as it starts to cook!
