Does chocolate syrup freeze?!

Question: Does chocolate syrup freeze!?
I'm making chocolate covered bananas and was wondering if chocolate syrup freezes!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
chocolate syrup ala hersheys or nesquick does not freeze because of the high alkalinity and preservatives to make it shelf stable!. Basically it doesnt freeze because it's been chemically altered to be in a liquid state!.

If your looking to quick prep chocolate bannas, there are several other options!.!.!.

sundae fudge works well if you heat it up enough, sometimes this gets messy!.!.!.

i believe hersheys makes a "shell" sundae topping that works the best, although you want to use multiple coats because the layers are thinWww@FoodAQ@Com

The syrup would be a sticky mess!. Can't you use chocolate chips or from a melted chocolate bar!?

Frozen Chocolate Banana Pops
Ingredients:
6 ripe bananas
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation:
Peel bananas; cut in half crosswise!. Insert a wooden stick into flat end of each banana half!. Lay bananas on a shallow pan or baking sheet; freeze for about 3 hours, until very firm!. Melt chocolate chops over hot water!. With a spatula, quickly spread melted chocolate over each banana, coating well!. Chocolate will become firm right away!. Wrap each banana in foil; store in freezer!.

Live dangerously, mix the chocolate with coconut, raisins or dried apricots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. Anything will freeze if it gets cold enough!. A normal freezer should handle it just fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course it will freeze, done it lots of times!. But it is messy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, it doesn't!.!.!.I tried making popsicles out of that once and it was just a cold gooey mess!.
