Need something not too filling to tide us over?!
After a hard week at work, the husband and I have slept in quite late!. In fact, the first meal I'm making is dinner! But it's going to take 3-4 hours to roast and prepare!. I don't want to be too stuffed to enjoy this lovely meal, but we'll never make it that far without eating SOMEthing!. I want to cook up something quick, easy, LIGHT (I thought of some pre-made condensed soup, but it's too hot for something so heavy and hot) and filling enough to tide us over without spoiling dinner!. I'm drawing a blank, though--our empty pantry isn't helping--and need some suggestions!. :)

Scrambled eggs are always my cheap, stand-by light meal!.!.!.you can make more or less depending on how hungry you are and the protein is great to hold you over until whenever you eat next!. If you have veggies or leftover meat, you can add those to your scramble too and jazz it up with some spices from the pantry!.

Do you have any fruit to tide you over until dinner!? You could take sliced apples and bananas and dip them in peanut butter (for extra protein) until dinner!. Chips and dip or salsa is another good choice!. Crackers with a few wedges of cheese with grapes or apples is light but not to filling!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 Spoons
4 Slices of bread
Peanut Butter(Smooth or Crunchy)
and your favorite brand of grape jam or jelly!.
Spread the peanut butter on two slices and the jam on the other two!.

Maybe just buy a box of cheezits or something!. Usually i just get some tortilla chips and salsa or a bag of sunchips!. then i share it with tha whole family so that i dont get too full!. but chips dont seem to take up a lotta space in ur stomach anyway!. but if u dont wanna buy anything than drink like 3+ glasses of water! hope it helped!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
