Question: How come oatmeal cookies are flat!?

Maybe because oatmeal is all sloopy and mushy so it makes the cookie batter mushy lol!. Thats what i think, hope i helped =-D!.

If you make them with margarine, they will flatten out because of the water content of the margarine!. Always use real butter for cookies!. Remember this "It's better with the butter in the batter" Now, repeat that 10 times!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

the ones you buy at a grocery store are probably flat!.!. cuz they don't use real oatmeal!.!. n if they doo they probably grind them up

you need to use self raising flour it has bi carb soda in it which makes the cookies rise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because of the lack of flour and the fact that oatmeal if actually quite heavy!.!.!.!.!.it tends to make the cookie sinkWww@FoodAQ@Com
