Chicken broth and water!

Question: Chicken broth and water
I want to make a soup!. Can I use the broth on it own!.!. or do I need to add water!? And, how much of each!. I'm making enough soup for 2-3 ppl!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
i use water and broth, broth alone can be too flavor-picky!. 2 cups of broth and 1 cup of water is generally good for a 2-4 person serving with some leftovers depending on what you put in it and how much your guests can eat!.
however, beef can be good as an only-broth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

saute carrots, celery and onion in a bit of oil!. add diced chicken and saute till the chicken is cooked, or if it is already cooked, heat through!. Add the broth and taste it!. If it is incredibley salty, add water!. If it is fine, do not add water!. When this mixture boils, add pasta or rice and cook till done!. You can add a bit of minced garlic and a bay leaf and some fresh or dried parsly too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think you need to use the water!. In fact some recipes that call for water will probably taste better if it is substituted with broth!. Then again, I don't know what kind of soup you are making so I can't be certain!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use the broth by it's self- adding water dilutes it and takes away the flavor!. How much depends on what else are you adding to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 cans of broth!. Add water, if you desire more stock!. But only 1 can @ a time!.

Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
