You'll want to make sure taht you have plenty of cold drinks, preferably water, on hand too! You'll need to plan on lunch and dinner and snacks to take!. Here are some ideas:

1!. Fresh fruit: strawberries, peaches, pears, cantelope cubes, watermelon slices
2!. Sliced turkey on sourdough roll with havarti cheese, lettuce and sliced tomatos to put on later!.
3!. Whole grain chips or baked potato chips!.
4!. Cold roasted chicken
5!. Crisp tender asparagas or green beans
6!. Carrots and celery stix with ranch dipping sauce
7!. Potato salad or pasta salad
8!. Brownies and/or oatmeal raisin cookies

Make sure you have an ice chest for things that need to remain cold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Baked beans!. Purchase a restaurant size can of pork 'n beans and make them into baked beans!. Add onion, 5 heaping tablespoons of brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of ketchup, 1/4 cup maple syrup!. Mix and heat in oven or crock pot!.

Fruit Salad!. Purchase watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, etc!. Cut all the fruit into cubes and place into a large bowl!. Unscrew the top off of the pineapple!. Place the top into the center of the bowl and use it as a centerpiece for the fruit!. It looks great and is easier than making a watermelon basket!.

Pasta Salad!. Cook tri-color pasta and drain!. Place into large bowl and add chopped onion, celery, carrots, grape tomatoes, cucumber, broccoli and/or any other vegetable that you like!. Top with Kraft Zesty Italian Salad Dressing and Parmesan cheese!. (You can also add colby cheese or any other cheese chunks you like!.)
Toss together, chill and serve!.
**I would use 1-1 1/2 boxes of pasta!. That will make LOTS!!

Broccoli Salad!.
Mix together
2 heads of broccoli, cut into bit size pieces
1/2 lb bacon crisped and crumbled
1 med red onion
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Mix 1 cup of miracle whip with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon vinegar
Put this dressing on salad 1-2 hours before serving!.
