I recommend the magic bullet it takes like 10 seconds to make a smoothie with no lumps from frozen fruit!. I think that anyone that owns a smoothie shop or restaurant should have one for busy days!. Like seriously 10 seconds ts quick for lunch times and when you have a baby you can trust it for no lumps and that way you don't have to worry you can buy it at any kitchen appliances store and if not ask them if they can order one in for you they sometimes come up on television and then you can order yourself one!. It also comes with 3 containers to blend the stuff in they come with covers so you can refridgerate the left overs and I recommend it to anyone with a baby or without!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The first thing you need to answer is How often are you going to use this and what type of foods are you going to blend!.
If you are going to use it every day and if you are going to use it for meats and root veggies, things like that, you want one that will be pretty tough!. Look into a commercial unit!. It may cost a bit more but you will not end up replacing it after a while!.
On the other hand if you don't think you are going to be using it for that long then get one of moderate expense and see how you like it!.
If you want to go really inexpensive look for a food mill, the hand crank type!. You will be able to do all but meats and very hard root items!. also you will not be able to do raw items like nuts!.
Hope you find one to your liking!.
By the way check second hand stores and auctions and the like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've got the Anthony Worrall Thompson blender and think its marvellous! Its got separate buttons for whatever you want to do such as chop, puree, batter, ice crusher, pulse, smoothie etc etc and other buttons for 'slow' and 'fast'!. Its easy to use, comes supplied with a recipe booklet and cost a reasonable £45!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
