Anyone know what this egg dish is?!
my grandmother used to make this for breakfast when i was little!. all i know is she put a piece of toast on a plate, put a poached egg (i think) on top of the toast, then poured something made with milk over the top!. anyone know what this is and exactly how to make it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for for here is a white cream sauce that would work!.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
salt
white or black pepper
Preparation:
Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir in flour!. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes!. Do not brown!. Gradually stir in milk and continue cooking over low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce begins to thicken!.

Was it an eggs benedict!? Instead of Hollandaise, we've been known to use bechamel sauce as it's easier to make than the hollandaise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
