Side dish suggestions for grilled New York steak!

Question: Side dish suggestions for grilled New York steak
I grill a lot & I'm just looking for something new to go with my steaks!. I usually do an angel hair pasta or garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus on the side!.

I'll probably still do my asparagus but can you think of a good side dish!? It could be a casserole, a different pasta dish, anything with potatoes, I don't care!. Just something other than mashed potatoes!.

I like to cut new potatoes in half put in a baking pan, drizzle with some olive oil, sprinkle with kosher salt and cracked black pepper!. Bake in the oven @ 400 degrees until done!. 5 minutes before you pull them out sprinkle with parm or romano cheese!. Yum!!!

I also like potatoe ranch casserole!. Real good but fattening, haha!.
Mix 1 container sour cream with equal amount of ranch dressing and toss with frozen diced potatoes (or use fresh diced to about 1 inch cubes)!. Fry bacon and crumble into casserole!. Slice scallions and mix in casserole!. Sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese and bake until heated through and cheese is bubbly!. Sometimes I also crush corn flakes and put that over the cheese for a nice crunch!. Either way they are delish! Sorry, set the oven at 350 degrees!.

I love baked sweet potatoes too with some butter (real butter) and cinnamon and brown sugar!.

Hope these help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try this: New potatoes, cleaned but leave skins on!. Cut into cubes!. (2lbs for 4 people) Place in a large bowl and toss with about 1/3 cup olive oil and 1 1/2 tablespoons of Bay Seasoning!. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees on a cookie sheet for about 30 minutes or until they're tender when you stick them with a fork!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
