What type of oil is good for stove top wok deep frying?!

Use an oil that doesn't have a strong flavor!. Vegetable oil, peanut oil, and shortening are all good oils for deep frying since they have neutral flavors and higher 'smoking points!.'

Rice Bran Oil is ideal for Deep frying and Stir Frying, It has a higher smoke point than most oils and the flavour is quite mild!.
I would use sesame or peanut oil for flavouring (ie: marinade meat in sesame oil, ginger, garlic and soy) rather than the frying itself!.

Peanut oil can handle the most heat but it does have a flavor Vegetable oil is a great alternative can not stand heat quite as well but is flavorless!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
