Vegetables are sometimes bitter because of growing conditions!. Try saute with a little garlic!. Add a small squeeze of lemon juice in the last minute or two of cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Never used canned spinach - it's a nasty green color and tastes disgusting!. Frozen or fresh spinach shouldn't taste bitter!. You can just heat the frozen spinach and serve with butter & salt!.!.!.!.Fresh spinach is great in salads, and also sauteed (try it in bacon drippings & crumble the cooked bacon on top)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually spinach fresh isn't bitter, it's when it is place in cans and additives are added and it changes the flavor!. If you don't like the canned, try frozen or fresh and add a low-fat cheese on top!.
