Homemade Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
-Half a kilo of chicken breasts, diced (you can have more if you need to or less)
-1 Onion (sliced)
-1 Bottle of curry paste ( green, red it depends on you)
-2/3 chillies ( optional)
-2/3 cloves of garlic
-2/3 Tablspoons of cooking oil
-1 Can of Coconut cream
Method:
Step 1: Fry the onions & garlic until brown
Step 2: Fry the chicken for about 5-10 minutes (this can be done in separate pans if you want, and then combined when everything is cooked)
Step 3: Combine the garlic, onions and chicken into a saucepan
Step 4: Let this all cook for about 10 minutes
Step 5: Add the coconut milk and about 4/5 tablespoons of curry paste into the pan and let it simmer for about 15-20 mins (if the sauce is too thick for you, you can add half a glass of water to thin it out and if its to thin then you can thicken it with coconut milk or some cornflour) (you also might not need all the curry paste but you can taste test the sauce and then you can decide whether or not you want more)
Step 6: Now it's done!! Add the chopped chillies on top when you are serving (this is optional, but if you are concerned about presentation then you can add the chillies on top)!. This dish is best served with steamed rice and maybe some bok-choy or some type of steamed vegetable!
Hope it all turns out well! Good luck with the cooking! =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It was mentioned before that you can buy the pre-mixed curry, but I prefer to do mine from scratch!.
Here is a recipe I found a while back for a basic curry sauce!. I found it on a website for an Indian food place in England!. I've eaten curry in a lot of places (sadly, never in the Middle East, though), and England has the best curries I've ever had!.
* 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or ghee (clarified butter)
* 1 medium onion - finely chopped
* 4 cloves garlic - peeled and sliced
* 1!.5 inch piece root ginger - peeled and thinly sliced
* half teaspoon turmeric powder
* half teaspoon ground cumin seed
* half teaspoon ground coriander seed
1 tablespoon concentrated tomato paste mixed with 4 tablespoons water
Method
1!. Heat the oil in a heavy pan then add the chopped onion and stir for a few minutes with the heat on high!.
2!. Add the ginger and garlic!. Stir for 30 seconds then put the heat down to very low!.
3!. Cook for 15 minutes stirring from time to time making sure nothing browns or burns!.
4!. Add the turmeric, cumin and coriander and cook, still very gently, for a further 5 minutes!. Don't burn the spices or the sauce will taste horrid - sprinkle on a few drops of water if you're worried!.
5!. Take off the heat and cool a little!. Put 4 fl oz cold water in a blender, add the contents of the pan and whizz until very smooth!. Add the tomato paste and stir!.
6!. Put the puréed mixture back into the pan and cook for 20 - 30 minutes (the longer the better) over very low heat stirring occasionally!. You can add a little hot water if it starts to catch on the pan but the idea is to gently "fry" the sauce which will darken in colour to an orangy brown!. The final texture should be something like good tomato ketchup!. Warning - it WILL gloop occasionally and splatter over your cooker, it's the price you have to pay! Www@FoodAQ@Com
