a good old fashioned roast beef and yorkshire puddings are always good but if you want to try something to impress them maybe try a rack of lamb!. You can put a crust on it and then serve it with the usual veggies potatoes and gravy!make sure you cook the lamb to be slightly pink as it has the most flavour then! the other option is to maybe try get hold of some turkey and cook a roast turkey! (just to be different)! good luck with the cooking hope it goes well and they enjoy it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I prefer a shoulder of lamb personally, but some people don't like lamb!. I suppose beef or chicken would be the most universally liked meats! Perhaps do a roast beef as chicken can become too dry!. Just make sure you dont overcook the beef - its best when its still a bit pink in the middle!Www@FoodAQ@Com

greek salad
roasted chicken with stuffing
green beans with pearl onions and red potatoes
roasted veggies!.!.!.drizzle favorite veggies with extra virgin olive oil!.!.!.spread in single layer on baking bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 15-20 min!.

and you must have cheesecake with assorted fruit toppings for dessert! yummm

enjoy your visit with your dad!
blessings,

Depends on what your Dad prefers!. Leg of lamb is a favourite,or Sirloin of beef, then the old standby roast chicken!. They are all easy to cook, with a selection of vegetables!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beef - then you can have all the traditional Roast Beef, roast pots, veg of your choice, Yorkshire pudding and gravy!. Those chickens will never come near to cattle or sheep nor even pigs when it comes to a decent roast!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Roast chicken!.
It is the tastiest out of all of them and has the best flavour!.
You can put seasonings on it and have stuffing too!.

Beef and lamb are both classics, especially beef, but I prefer to use pork, because it is the only time I ever cook with pork so it makes a nice change!.
