I remember when I was a child of about 9 yrs of age, I wanted to surprise my mother and show her that I was a big girl!. So I decided to fry chicken like I had watched her do, the only problem was I didn't thaw it out!. As it hit the hot oil and began to thaw,(the water from it being frozen caused this) the oil started popping and splattering and I was afraid to get to close to the stove so I ended up crying for my big brother!. We both got popped by the hot oil many times!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can, you just have to fry it a lot slower, or use shake and bake and do it in the oven!. I often bake my chicken from frozen!. I usually buy my chicken already fried because I don't have much luck with fried chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cooking any meat frozen will sieze up, making it dry, especially on high heat!. Besides I think frozen + hot oil = major splattering!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on the cut of the meat!.!.!. thin cuts may not need to be thawed!. But, as a rule, I would thaw it out before frying!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it should be thawed because a frozen chicken has water and water and grease don't mix!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it most definatley has to be thawed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!.
Just cook it longer!.
The outside will be overdone but who cares!?
Or you could just nuke it to thaw!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Thaw it or youll ruin the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
