Here are some of my families favorites: Cheeseburger Casserole-this one is easy to make you fry hamburger meat with garlic, onion, salt and pepper, drain the meat and add cream of mushroom soup ( i use 1 can per 1 lb!.of meat)and a little bit of milk to make a smooth consistency(just a little bit though)and put this in the bottom of a casserole dish, then prepare 1-2 boxes of mac-n-cheese according to the directions on package, when done spread this evenly on top of hamburger mixture, sprinkle with shredded cheddar or shredded Velveeta and bake @ 350 degrees until heated through and cheese starts to brown!.they also like grilled tomato &mozzerella sandwiches-for these you take a little bowl and put olive oil and a little bit of garlic(I use powder)you use this to brush on your sourdough bread, after brushing w/olive oil mix put on griddle (however make sure to have your other ingredients easily accessible as these brown very fast and will burn easily!!) put one slice of mozzerella cheese followed by 2 slices of tomato then sprinkle with sweet basil and then one more slice of mozzerella top with second slice of sourdough brushed w/olive oil mixture and grill until done!.Even my kids love these!! We eat lasagna,Pizza Casserole, beef stew,I make alot of homemade soups in the winter,(cheeseburger soup, chicken tortilla, corn &sausage chowder, cheesy lasagna soup, italian wedding,etc!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take cube steak, dip them in buttermilk, then dredge in salt & pepper seasoned flour!. Brown in skillet, on both sides!. Then, make milk gravy from the drippings in the skillet!. Put the steaks in a sheet cake pan, pour gravy over the steaks, bake in oven @ 375 for 45 minutes to an hour!. Make biscuits!. Slice tomatoes, heat sweet peas!. When you take out the steaks & put on plates, it leaves the gravy behind to put over biscuits, & the meat is so tender you can cut it with a spoon!. Have the tomatoes & peas on the side!. It really sticks to your ribs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You and yours should sit down together with a couple of cook books, or web sites and pick out your next meal and cook it together!. Since you used the term "we", I assume you both like to cook!. Try making it a romantic meal where both of you cook, set the table, set out the candles, and together choose a bottle of wine!. (if you have kids, have a nieghbor or family member keep them overnight)!.

My favorite 'quick and easy' dish:

Take one box of velveeta shells and cheese!. Brown 1/2 to 3/4 lb of ground beef!. Stir into the beef one can of stewed tomatoes and a 1/2 chopped ontion, along with some garlic to taste!. Saute until the onions are tender and add to the mac and cheese!. DELICIOUS!.

For something a bit more in depth, but tasty, my favorite is pasta carbonara!. It's similar to an alfredo, but you use bacon and some egg to thicken up the sauce a bit!. You can find a lot of variations on this recipe, but look around for one you think sounds good!.

Last night, we made 2 blackened steelhead (fish) fillets served under sauteed corn and diced bacon alongside some grilled escarole drizzled in balsamic vinagerette!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I thought of something good I haven't made in a long time that I'm going to make for supper tonight!. SOS!. Where you take you hamburger and scramble it up and make milk gravy on it and serve it over toast!. My mom used to make it all the time and I loved it but I haven't made it in a loooong looong time!. We also do alot of spagatti and chicken alfrado and chicken cassarolles!. Frozen pizzas are good every once in awhile and if you have kids they love it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

have you tried making stack a meal!? you cook rice, ground turkey or beef mixed with ketchup, tabasco, onions, and i think oregano, cook some peas and then you stack each part of the meal on a plate!.

We do rice as the base, then the meat, then peas and top it off with Cheese!.

Might not be super healthy but it's good and it feeds a family!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
