How can I spice up (literally or not) my chicken and rice?!
I'm making a QUICK dinner for my friend tomorrow before we go out!. I was going to bake chicken breasts and cook rice!. Are there any easy ways I can dress up either of them to be less bland!?!? Looking for something that will only take a few common ingredients

Bake the breasts with a little white wine and some garlic cloves, a splash of lemon juice and some herbs!. When it's done, pour the juice over the rice!. You could also steam some broccoli, or saute some onions and mushrooms to mix in the rice also, a little olive oil and another splash of lemon juice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if steaming rice in a rice steamer, add soy sauce to the water,
the rice soaks up the flavour!. Curry powder and hot sauce works good too!.

Not usually my answer, but pick the flavour you would like to achieve and buy the ready made sauce, make a leafy salad, a simple dessert, and off you go!.
