Fondant!. This is most commonly used in all the fancy design cakes as it provides a smooth appearance, can be molded into many shapes and can be easily colored!. There are some challenges to working with it and it doesn't have very good flavor but it's on almost every designed cake you see these days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
