Picky eater recipes?!
My boyfriend only likes like pizza, burgers and chicken!. He won't eat tomatoes, and honestly , the only fruit he'll eat is bananna's, and the only veggie he'll eat is corn!. (He's actually really skinny)!. Any ideas on recipes for this picky eater!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i used to be like that!.!.!.!.!.!.!.picky eater skinny and only ate junk!.!.!.!.!.!.make him some sausge sandwiches, chicken breast sandwiches, go to his favorite restaraunt and look at the menu and try to mimic some of there dishes/sandwichesWww@FoodAQ@Com
His mother spoiled him so severely that he will probably be very ill in the near soon!. She should have swatted his bottom and made him sit there til he cleaned his plate a couple of times!.
I always put only a tiny bit of a new food on grandchildren's plates and tell them they may be excused from the table only AFTER they have tasted everything I have cooked!.
I do not tolerate "picky" very well, I am as apt to slap them silly for their nasty attitudes as to continue to speak to them!. Said grandchildren have sat at my dinner table for 24 hours before they ate it, but eat it they also did and were thankful to be allowed to ask "May I please be excused from the table!?"

Upside down pizza
INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground beef,
1 onion, chopped (can leave out if necessary)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Brown beef, onion and garlic in a large saucepan over medium high heat!. Once browned, drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce!.
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of sauce!. Top with 1/2 of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, another layer of sauce and the rest of the cheese!. Top with crescent rolls, pinching seams together!.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown!. You can add any other pizza ingredients he might like!.

Tamale pie
CORN BREAD PIE
1 lb!. hamburger
1 can tomato soup
1 can whole kernel corn
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 lg!. onion (can leave out the onion and peppers if necessary)
1 green pepper
1 cup water
1 tsp chili powder or 1/2 tsp cumin
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
Salt or garlic salt to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F!. Brown hamburger and onion!. Drain and add soup, water, corn, chili powder, salt!. Place mixture in a large iron skillet or 9x13 pan!. Mix cornbread as directions on box (mix slightly thinner)!. Pour cornbread over hamburger mixture and bake at 400°F for 30 or 40 minutes!. A can of pinto beans is good in this too if he'll eat beans!.

We eat a lot of chicken so I will buy several large packages of chicken when it is on sale and cook it!. If using whole chickens stew in water or broth until the meat will easily separate from the bone!. Cool and take off all the meat from the bone!. If using chicken breasts(much easier!) cook slowly in a little liquid until tender but not too done or it will be stringy!. Cut in cubes!. Freeze meat in freezer bags in amounts normally used for recipes!. Easy to make some quick BBQ chicken sandwiches, chicken salad, chicken and noodles,etc!.
Quick Chicken & Noodles
Put as many noodles as you want in a pan, add enough chicken broth to cover ( about 2 cans to a whole package of noodles), cook till noodles are done!. Add a package of the thawed cooked chicken and heat through!. Add a little cornstarch mixed with water if you need to thicken broth!. Season with salt or garlic salt, a little parsley and pepper!. Serve with corn & mashed potatoes!.

You might want to consider using Benefiber to add fiber to meals since he isn't big on fruit & veggies!. It can be added to lots of things without changing the texture or flavor!.

2 tbsp!. butter
1 1/2 c!. chicken, diced
1/3 c!. milk
1/4 c!. chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Directions:
1!. Cook the green pepper and onion in butter until tender!.
2!. Add milk and soup, mix well and heat mixture for 5 minutes!.
3!. Stir in chicken!. Heat thoroughly!. Serve over noodles or rice!.
serves 4

2 oz peas (if frozen, defrost first)
2 carrots
2 packages frozen shortcrust pastry or home made
3 ounces flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1!. First fry the chicken breasts until they are brown!.
2!. Place the chicken on a plate!.
3!. Then make a white sauce using the flour (3 oz) leave the sauce to cool!.
4!. Cook the vegetables in boiling water and drain!.
5!. Mix the vegetables and chopped chicken to the white sauce 6 roll out the pastry and place in a pie dish prick the base of the dish!.
7!. Then bake in the oven for 10 mins on gas mark 5 (320°F) till it is cooked through then glaze over with the egg and cook again for 5 mins!.
8!. Take the dish out of the oven and add the chicken mixture!.
9!. Glaze around the edge of the dish with more egg!.
10!. Then place a round shape to fit the dish (of pastry on top)
11!. Then glaze it with more egg!.
12!. Place in the oven for 30 mins or until golden on top!.
Delete what you know he will not eat, but check with him to see what he would try!.

Soup is a good place to hide good things!.
Make a chicken and corn soup!.
Load it with blended potatoes, pasta or rice!.
If he has gravy, same thing, puree veggies into it!.
If he can eat burgers he can eat meatballs (secret ingredients)
There are heaps of ways, but he will not starve!.

I make one meal!. You eat it or starve!.
THAT is how I deal with picky eaters!.
I, however, do give choices for snack, breakfast, and lunch within the limits of what I have on hand!. Most of the time she gets a fruit smoothie for snack :) Www@FoodAQ@Com
