Garlic Peas and Mushrooms?!
Birdseye makes a garlic peas and mushroom blend!. Does anyone have a recipe that tastes like the original!? thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed
1 (4!.5 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 pinch black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Cook peas according to package directions!. Set aside!.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat!. Saute onion and garlic in butter until tender, about 5 minutes!. Stir in the peas and mushrooms, then season with sugar, salt, thyme and pepper!. Reduce heat to low, and cook just until heated through!.

Never had it, but here's a guess, and it's probably healthier for you (I have been studying up on processed foods and the junk they put in them)
melt some butter, put some garlic (to taste) into the melted butter, and cook for a few minutes, maybe throw in some parsley, ssautein some mushrooms, and then toss in the peas!. I'll bet you come up with the right balance quickly enough!. or you might like your own even better!. We like TONS of garlic in our food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
