Avocado wraps question?!

Question: Avocado wraps question!?
I'm planning to make avocado wraps for a day at the park - basic recipe - avocado, tomato, grated cheese but i want to add a bit of red onions!.!.the prob is -

since they have onions in them, will they spoil being out in the sun!?

Do you have alternative (veggie) avocado wraps recipes!?

thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The onions will definitely NOT add to spoilage!. As a matter of fact, the acidity and sulfur content will actually help to prevent spoilage!.

The avocado presents the usual problem of turning color after it has been cut!. The brown color does not hurt the flavor but it will spoil the lovely color!. You can try sprinkling with a citrus juice!.

Or be very sensual and peel and cut the avocado at the last minute to add to your wraps !. !. !. !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A bigger problem is the avocado, it will definitely oxidize and turn brown and taste horrid if you prepare it in advance!. Doesn't mater how you keep it either!. You can mix the avocado with lime juice, but that'll only slow it down a little!.

This might not be something that should be prepared in advanced, but as soon as you are able to before eating to get the best taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

consider making guacamole instead with onion, tomato, and cilantro, store in a sealable tub and carry to the park in a small ice chest in ice!. it is easyer to conserve avocado this whay than in slices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bring the whole avocado's in a large punch bowl of ice!. or your Ice chest!.!.
When someone asks about the avocado's jump up and fix your dish!. One person cut it in half wrap in plastic and back in ice!.!.
Next time you will bring,,, Cheese,, Meat and Fruit platters!.!.
