Can you make blackberry crumble or pie in a normal microwave!
ive not got an cooker as yet just moved but do have a microwave and have blackberry's and rhubarb in the garden can i make a pie or crumble in a microwave or have you any idea for a pudding with these fruitsWww@FoodAQ@Com

You could make the filling in the microwave, but any crust wouldn't brown up in a microwave !.!.!.!. But, the hot filling would taste wonderful over vanilla ice cream!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Don't think so!.!.!.!.it'll likely burn parts and not cook others!.!.!.!.microwaves work best for food with liquids which is why when you reheat food it usually dries it out!.
Tip: If you ever make a Sunday dinner for someone to re-heat later then cover it in a thin layer of gravy as soon as it's made to stop it from drying out when you re-heat it in the microwave!.!.!.!.the top of the gravy will have a skin but the food underneath won't be dry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cos the sugar from the blackberrys and rhubarb, will get really hot before the pastry is even near cooked :)
