Answers:
applesauce!.!.!.less fat so it's better for you alsoWww@FoodAQ@Com

Substitutes:
corn oil
OR safflower oil
OR melted shortening
OR cooking spray (for greasing pans)

*Personally I would use ANY oil I had avaliable especially if it's just 1 or 2 TB - (like OO EVOO , canola) Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use applesauce, but I find the result is usually very dry!. I actually prefer olive oil (not virgin olive oil) as it usually results in a moist, dense brownie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The oil works as an emulsifier, also gives moisture!.
You can use applesauce, like the first answer said, or any pureed fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could use any salad oil like corn or olive !. The olive might impart a different taste to the brownie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well if u want a healthy one !.!.!. try any non stick spray or little bit of butter might do the trick!.!.!.any other oil will work as well!.!.!. such as canoil oil etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
