Recipe calls for vegatable oil, i dont have any? substitute?!
im pregnant and really want to bake these brownies, but need vegetable oil!.!.!.!.dont have any!. can i just add an extra egg or something!? more water!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can use applesauce, but I find the result is usually very dry!. I actually prefer olive oil (not virgin olive oil) as it usually results in a moist, dense brownie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The oil works as an emulsifier, also gives moisture!.

You could use any salad oil like corn or olive !. The olive might impart a different taste to the brownie!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well if u want a healthy one !.!.!. try any non stick spray or little bit of butter might do the trick!.!.!.any other oil will work as well!.!.!. such as canoil oil etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
