Partially defrosted Fish... can i still cook?!

Question: Partially defrosted Fish!.!.!. can i still cook!?
I'm cooking salmon and flounder roulettes that were flash frozen!. Took these out kinda late, so instead of defrosting for 2 hrs, they're only defrosting for one hour!. These are kind that are stuff with crabmeat and dill!.

wanted to know if i need to increase the temp in over or what!?

the directions are to defrost at room temp for 2hrs and cook 20min @350 degrees!. so what'd be a good alternative!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
since they have been defrosting an hour they might be at least most of the way defrosted so i would check them after the first 20 minutes they might be done!. dont increase the temp or they might dry out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they are still sealed in a wrapper you can soak and run them under hot water!. If they are opened then seal them into a ziploc baggie and do the same!. Soaking them in a bowl of hot tap water will actually defrost them quite quickly!. I have done filets right from the freezer this way and they were completely defrosted within 20 - 30 minutes!. Just be sure that the bag is completely sealed! Direct contact with the water will make the fish fall apart!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always manage to over cook these things if they thaw for the full time!. They may be just perfectly defrosted anyway!. Did you feel them to see if they still have ice crystals in them!? They may be perfect!.

Just cook at 350F for the 20 minutes and check to see if they are done!.

Increasing the temperature will burn the outside and leave the center raw and the meat of the fish between will be very very dry and nasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cook at 400 for 25 min
