Any ideas for a cake that could somehow represent the state of Mississippi?!

Question: Any ideas for a cake that could somehow represent the state of Mississippi!?
I have some family coming into town that are from Mississippi and I would like to make a cake and have something on it that represents where they're from!. But I don't know anything about Mississippi!. Any ideas for what I could do!? I'm very creative and pretty skilled!. So I can turn a cake into almost anything!. If I can't do it with cake, I can do it with gumpaste or fondant!. Does anyone have any suggestions!? And while we're on the subject, what's the abbreviation for Mississippi!? Is it MI or MS!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
MS's state flower is a magnolia and their welcome sign entering the state is the outline of the state with a big magnolia blossom in the center!. I think that would look nice on the cake!. The picture is about 1/4 the way down on the right on this wikipedia page!.
