What sauce can I make for ravioli?!

Question: What sauce can I make for ravioli!?
I am making chicken and cheese filled ravioli tonight and we do not have any canned sauces!. I would like to avoid buying one if I can!. Do you have any recipes for sauces that will go well with this dish!?

Thank you(:Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If you have canned tomatoes, you can simmer them with some herbs (oregano, rosemary, basil, garlic); then add a little olive oil and toss with the ravioli !.!.!.!.!.!.If not, then just saute some garlic & onions, with the herbs, in olive oil and use that!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Check out www!.cooks!.com for a whole bunch of usable recipes!. These have all been submitted by normal cooks who like them!. They have a good search box!. Type in "ravioli sauces" or the name of a particular sauce and you'll find plenty!.

Myself, I usually use a yoghurt base (plain yoghurt, of course) and add grated cheeses to it once the yoghurt melts!. Stir a little flour into the yoghurt as you're stirring it to melt it!. Then add 2 or 3 nice cheeses, grated!. Thicken or thin as needed with a little extra flour or some milk or water!. Season to taste with onion powder, garlic, salt, and pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Either a tomato based marinara or a light cheese/cream sauce would taste great over ravioli!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think a pesto would go well with that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
