As other people have said, unless your butter is unsalted, leave out the garlic salt because that will overpower anything and everything you put in there!. I add a pinch of pepper, a pinch of paprika, and a pinch of onion powder to mine as well!. Put the butter in the microwave for about ten seconds, add the seasonings, and stir it all together!. I would actually RECOMMEND letting it sit for at least a half hour before you make the bread itself, because that gives the butter time to really soak up all the ingredients!.
Assuming you've got yourself some bread, to make it quickly take a slice and put on a thin layer of garlic butter; you definitely do not need a lot!. If you have a toaster oven, pop the slices in on 400 degrees for about three to five minutes (or until they're as crispy as you like -- just keep an eye on them!)!. If you really want to get fancy, you can shave some parmesan over them as well, just a little sprinkling!. If you have no toaster oven, just arrange your slices on a baking sheet and put them in a 385 oven for five minutes!.

Use the butter and chopped garlic and the italian seassoning if you want to!. Then some grated parmesan cheese not the stuuf in the can!. In a small pan melt the butter with the garlic in it!. Add a little of the italian seasoning!. Brush the bread with the butter seasoning on both sides!. Sprinkle one side with the parmesan cheese!. Place in a heated skillet cheese side up first!. Then carefully flip over and grill until the parmesan cheese is lightly browned!. Then remove from skillet and put in tin foil and keep warm in the oven!.
Or if what yu have on hand is only what is in the picture then spread the softened butter on the bread!. Sprinkle with garlic powder and tiny bit of the garlic salt and italian seasoning!. Either toast in a heated skillet or just wrap in tin foil and stick in the oven on warm!.

That should work just fine!. Melt the butter before you spread it on the bread!. Garlic salt or garlic powder, or even easier, toast the buttered bread under the broiler or toaster oven, then rub a clove of peeled garlic across the top of the bread!. Great, authentic flavor with fewer ingredients!. Very good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yeah, I would omit the garlic salt!. Butter, garlic powder & italian seasoning will be perfect!. Make sure the butter is softened, combine in a bowl with the other two ingredients (to taste)!. Spread on bread!. Bake at 375-deg F for 10-15 minutes!.
Yes, you can prepare in advance!. Just make sure to seal the bread in plastic (or foil, which can then go directly in the oven)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wow, what a coincidence, I just made some with the spaghetti dinner I made tonight! LOL!. I just simply spread room temperature butter or margarine on the bread I am using and sprinkle garlic powder on top!. Then I take the butter knife and rake against the bread again!. Sprinkling Italian herbs on top is optional but not required!. To bake the bread I simply broil on low while watching it VERY carefully!.
Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure butter it ahead and bake it just before u serve it so it's hot!!! If you want it toasty and lil crunchy then do not cover it with foil or a lid!.!.!.that will make it soft n soggy!.!.!.

No garlic salt! Semi melt the margarine or butter in the microwave, not to hot, just half melted, stir in a bunch of "GARLIC POWDER" a couple tablespoons to a stick of butter, taste it to see if it's garlicy enough for you!. You don't need the italian seasoning but if you like it, sprinkle some in there too!. Stir it up and spoon or pour it over the bread!. Put it on a cookie sheet and put in the oven on 350 for about 15 or so till it starts to toast!. Do not cover it with foil or a lid!.!.!. n don't burn it!.!.!.
If it were a loaf of french bread you would split the loaf down the middle & pour the semi melted, seasoned butter in the split loaf, sprinlke a lil water on the outside to crisp it up!. And bake the same till crusty n hot!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Or peel and crush (wrap in cling film and hit with something flat and heavy) fresh garlic clove!. Mix with softened butter!. Cut almost through French loaf at an angle!. Fill cuts with garlicky butter!.
When everything else ready, pop in oven to melt butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

charc said to stir in 2 tablespoons of garlic powder into a stick of softened butter, but that is way too much garlic powder!. Start with 1/2 teaspoonfull, that may be enough!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
