I need one more side to go with my meatloaf.!

Question: I need one more side to go with my meatloaf!.
My meatloaf is in the oven!. There are whole carrots around it & I have gravy!. I am making mashed potatoes!. I would like one more side but my husband is really picky!. He will eat green salad every day & green beans & corn (which I have) but I need some more suggestions!. I have everything to make a salad & fresh fruit; apple, banana, mango, grapefruit, peach, plum, pineapple, cool whip, jello, pecans, etc!. Just nothing too heavy, please!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You could serve one or more fruits on the side, with cool whip, or make a waldorf salad with the apples and pecans and a little mayo!. I could eat salad every day and prefer it over fruit!. Peas, green beans, corn are all good!. Maybe some bread slices, cornbread, or biscuits!. My guy would be happy with what you have already!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This wasn't gonna be my answer, but since you have everything else, try this!. Cut one of every fruit you have into bite size pieces!. Stir honey to taste into plain yogurt!. Mix that up with your fruit!. Be careful not to make too much because ya can't save it!. start with the fruits you like best, so if it becomes too much you can stop there!. Top with a few chopped nuts & raisens!. Save the whip cream & jello for another time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Peas with pancetta!. Real simple recipie, everybody loves it with meatloaf!. Simply buy pancetta (bacon could substitue) slice it into small pieces, render it in a pan, add 3 tablespoons of chopped onions and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat until the pancetta is crisp and the onions are translucent!. Then add in 1- 11/2 cups of peas!. Saute for 3 minutes and serve!. Gets 'um every time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
