Ingredients
45 grams margarine or butter
1 package (about 40) regular marshmallows
- or -
480 grams miniature marshmallows
Chocolate chips to your liking
54 grams Rice Krispies? (for a real chocolaty cake use chocolate cocoa krispies)!.

Directions
1!. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat!. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted!. Remove from heat!. Stir in chocolate chips!.

2!. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal!. Stir until well coated!.

3!. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2- pan coated with cooking spray!. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool!. Best if served the same day!.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In a microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes!. Stir until smooth!. Stir in chocolate chips!. Follow steps 2 and 3 above!.

Microwave cooking times may vary!.

Note

For best results, use fresh marshmallows!.

1 jar marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows!.

Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended!.

Store no more than two days in airtight container!.

To help smooth in any size pan - use a food handler's disposable glove or spatula greased with butter or margarine!.

Chocolate Krispies

100g of dark chocolate, broken into pieces!.

55g unsalted butter

1 tbsp plus 1 tsp of golden syrup

1 tbsp of cocoa powder

125g cornflakes, or rice-krispies, or branflakes, or toasted dessicated coconut

Melt the chocolate and butter together!. Add the syrup and cocoa powder and stir until smooth!.

Add the corn flakes, or rice krispies and fold into the chocolate mixture until the flakes or krispies are completely covered!.

Spoon into paper cases and refrigerate for about two hours or until well set!.

Here is a fun easy chocolate recipe similar to the chocolate recipe for Krispies!. In this kids' recipe they get to roll marshmallows in chocolate and cover with a frosting of their choice!.

Have around 15 marshmallows, and 285g of plain or milk chocolate and covering of choice, see chocolate recipe above for Krispies!.

Melt the chocolate, see melting methods for cooking tips, and then drop a few marshmallows into the melted chocolate!. Using a fork make sure that each marshmallow is thoroughly covered, then lift out allowing the chocolate to drip off !. Marshmallow Crispy Treats Recipe

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for greasing pan and hands
1 (10-ounce) package mini marshmallows
2 to 3 tablespoons instant coca powder 6 cups rice cereal (recommended: Rice Krispies)


Lightly butter an 8-inch square pan!.
In a large pot, melt the butter over very low heat!. Stir in the marshmallows, getting them all coated with the butter!. Slowly melt the marshmallows, stirring frequently!. When the marshmallows are melted and smooth, remove the pan from the heat!. Stir in the instant coffee (2 tablespoons for a rich coffee flavor, 3 tablespoons for a real kick) and mix until it is dissolved into the melted marshmallow!. Gently fold in the rice cereal!. When it is completely coated, lightly press the mixture into the prepared pan with your buttered hands!. When cool, cut the treats into bars and serve!.
