Answers:
Noodles would need to be boiled first, even if they are prepackaged or fresh!. Usually the package will tell you how long, and I would say if you are going to add them into another dish, you can subtract a minute from the cooking time such that they do not become mush when you add them to the teriyaki!.

A word of advice on cooking noodles - you want to give them plenty of water to boil in - at least 4 quarts!. Let the water come to a rolling boil before adding the noodles!. Then add a little salt (a teaspoon is fine considering your dish) and then your noodles!. Stir as soon as they go in the boiling water to prevent sticking!. Once the water comes back to a boil begin timing the noodles!. Stir occassionally and drain when the recommended time has elapsed!. Since you are adding them to another dish, I would recommend that you rinse the noodles after draining them!. Normally I do not recommend rinsing, but you don't want your final dish to be too starchy, so a quick rinse in water wouldn't hurt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sometimes noodles have to be boiled, but sometimes they can just be left sitting in a bowl for 5 mins with boiling water poured over them to soften them up!. Whichever noodles you use should have some instructions on the pack!.

You just boil them I guess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
