theyre always good when your feeling clammy!.

some soups that are good are:
broccoli & cheese soup
cream of tomato soup
chicken noodle soup
mushroom soup

&& incase you want to make themm:


Broccoli Cheese Soup
2 packages frozen broccoli florets
2 (15 ounce) cans chicken broth
8 to 12 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed

Cook broccoli in chicken broth until very tender!. Turn off heat!. Use hand held blender to puree the soup; it will be very thick!. Turn off the heat, and add cubed Velveeta, stirring until smooth!. Add black pepper to taste!.

Cream of Tomato Soup
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
4 cups milk
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups strained tomatoes or tomato juice

Melt butter in saucepan!. Blend in flour and salt!. Stir milk in slowly!. Heat strained tomatoes or tomato juice!. Pour into the white sauce, stirring very quickly!. You may add a small can tomato sauce with the juice if you like it stronger!. You may also simmer fresh onion rings in the juice for a few minutes, then discard the rings!.

Chicken Noodle Soup
1 (4- to 5-pound) stewing chicken, cut up
3 quarts water
1 carrot, cut up
1 stalk celery, cut into 1-inch lengths
2 or 3 sprigs parsley
2 teaspoons salt

Place chicken in large kettle!. Add water; cover!. Cook over low heat until boiling point is reached!. Skim carefully!. Add carrot, celery, parsley and salt!. Cover and gently simmer for about 3 hours!. Strain!. Chill!. If any fat accumulates over chilled liquid, remove while soup stock is cold!.

Makes 1 1/2 to 2 quarts stock!. Use the chicken in your favorite dish!.

Mushroom Soup
8 to 12 ounces fresh mushrooms
1 small onion, sliced thin
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup flour, mixed to a smooth paste with
1/4 cup cold milk 4 chicken bouillon cubes
Pinch of thyme
1/2 cup plain yogurt

Brown the mushrooms and onions in butter for about 5 minutes!.

Add milk, flour paste, chicken bouillon cubes and thyme!. Heat over moderate heat, stirring frequently until thickened!. Remove from heat!. Season with salt and pepper!. Stir a bit of the hot soup into the yogurt!. Stir all of the yogurt mixture into the hot soup!. Serve!.
