Yes, actually!.
It's kind of my signature dish!.
Anyway, this is my recipe for 2 people!.
I don't use linguine!. I use bog-standard dried spaghetti!. You can get dried linguine so just cook enough for 2 people according to the instructions on the pack!.
Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan and add one large onion, chopped finely, to it!. Add 2 level tsp of salt and half a tsp of sugar!.
While the onions are going soft and golden, chop up two red chillies (I like using one red and one green for colour) and add that to the pan, put on a low heat!.
Open one can of crab meat and add that to the onion after it has cooked properly and gone a gold colour!. Put this on a very low heat as the mixture will burn while you chop up two tomatoes!. Add those to the pan and move the heat up to about medium high and let the tomatoes breakdown and create a nice sauce with a lid on!.
Stir at frequent times for about 5-10 minutes!.
NOTE - If you want to add a bigger kick, pour in one shot of vodka with the crab and the onions!.
also, if you don't want too much tomato, just change the recipe to one tomato!. It is literally just there to give it a bit of flavour and also a wetter texture!. Dry tasting pasta isn't very pleasant!.
Stir in the cooked pasta and bam! Done!.
I like to add a splash of tobasco and Worcester Sauce to add a bigger kick to the mix!. Serve with buttered french stick (I veto the bread as the pasta's filling enough) and a twist of black pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
