Saucey Sonoran Cube Steak
* 1 cup breadcrumbs
* 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 4 (4 ounce) beef cube steaks or pork cube steaks
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Sauce
* 3/4 cup bottled ranch dressing
* 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Texas Style Chicken Fried Steak With Cream Gravy
4 (4 ounce) tenderized beef steaks (known in supermarkets as “cube steak”)
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
all-purpose flour
cooking oil or melted Crisco
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
Beat together the egg and milk and set aside!.Mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika and white pepper and sprinkle on both sides of beef cutlets!.
Fill plastic zip lock back with flour!. Drop steaks into bag to manually and dredge the steak in flour!. Then pour flour into a shallow dish and shake excess flour off of the steaks!. Use a pair of tongs for dipping steak into egg mixture and a separate pair of tongs for dipping into the flour!.Set cutlets aside on a piece of waxed paper!.
Heat the cooking oil in a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet over medium-high heat for a few minutes!. Oil should be about a half-inch deep in the pan!. (This recipe is not about diets!) Check the temperature with a drop of water; if it pops and spits back at you, it’s ready!.
With a long-handled fork, carefully place each cutlet into the hot oil!. Protect yourself (and your kitchen) from the popping grease that results!. Fry cutlets on both sides, turning once, until golden brown!. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 4 or 5 minutes until cutlets are done through!. Drain cutlets on paper towels!.Cream Gravy!.

Brown the beef in a fry pan in a little oil, in batches and transfer to a heavy based pot!. (preferably)
Fry off the onions and garlic and deglaze the fry pan with a little water!.
Add the onions and garlic to the meat!.
If the soup mix is powdered sprinkle over meat and onions and stir to combine!.
Stir in more water until in covers the meat completely!.
Add seasonings, S&P, Worcestershire sauce and bring to the boil!.
Reduce and simmer for 45 minutes, on the lowest heat on an element!.
Check water level and stir from time to time
Add carrots celery and chopped potatoes and crushed tomatoes and juice!.
You may need to top up the level of water and stir to combine!.
Bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 20-30 minutes, or until the potatoes and carrots are cooked!.
Check seasonings once again, and if necessary thicken!.
Serve!.

put meat in a crock pot, add 1 lg!. can mushroom soup no water, cook on low 4 about 2&1/2 hrs, add potatos, carrots, and/or celery, hot peppers, a little soy sauce, salt, pepper, whatever, and cook till tender!. enjoy!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
