What to serve with tamales?!


Question: What to serve with tamales!?
I'm making tamales with chicken mole, what would be a good side dish to that, no refried beans please!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Spanish rice, black beans or Mexican corn!. Don't forget the avocado salad or guacamole n fried tortillas!

also on TV!.!. I saw a puerto rican meal!.!. they served rice, beans (not refried) salads and bowls of fruit!.!. they had flat bread with butter!.!.
and what looked good to me was a huge plate of sliced avocados with cherry tomatoes tossed around and a sprinkling of olive oil over it!.!. looked good!.!.!. I love avocados in any form!.!. mmm!!.!. maybe you could even make quacomole and serve some chips and salsa!.!.!.

I'd go with some Spanish rice and a salad!.

I've served red tamales with a baked apple and sweet potato casserole and salad!. The first time I did this it was to clear the leftovers out of the fridge!. But, since I've done it deliberately!. We just like the combination!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
