Congratulations on your anniv!.,and your baby, wow, your having an exciting year !!!
The ham and american cheese sounds delish!. Why not make baked potato's,or mashed!. A simple salad would be nice too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd stick with the original recipe on this one!. The feta will add a rich and savory flavor that American cheese doesn't have!. I created a similar recipe using artichoke hearts instead of the bacon and it turned out great!. If you don't want to use feta, consider a goat cheese!. And, if you want to use the American, use the bacon!.

For my chicken dish I serve wild rice pilaf and a salad of baby greens with sliced fresh ripe pear, crumbled gorgonzola, candied walnuts and a champagne vinagrette!. For dessert, lemon tarts!.

Happy Anniversary!Www@FoodAQ@Com

With ham and cheese, it will be Chicken Cordon Bleu (although that's usually a white cheese); so that's fine:) !.!.!.!. How about a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer!? Put the cooked shrimp around the edge of martini glasses, with the sauce inside!. Steamed asparagus bundles (tie with strips of sunroasted pepper), and plain browned baby potatoes !.!.!.!. Chocolate covered strawberries for dessertWww@FoodAQ@Com

Ham and American would be good but even blue cheese would be okay!. I prefer feta!. Or how about cream cheese!?

Asparagus or grean beans would ge well with this dish as well!.

Then do roasted potatoes and a nice side salad!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The ham will be fine, but the American cheese is so different from feta!., I would prefer even swiss better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
